So, whether you're a fellow data enthusiast, a curious mind, or just interested in understanding how I work, this space offers a deep dive into my academic and professional world.

  • Career Coach

Every individual has unique career goals, and I understand that a one-size-fits-all approach won't suffice. With my deep understanding of the job market and diverse industries, she crafts personalized strategies that align with each client's aspirations. From resume optimization and interview preparation to networking strategies and personal branding, I equip my clients with the tools and knowledge to stand out in today's competitive job market.

  • Philanthropist

With my expertise in data science and technology, I leverage my skills to support nonprofits and social impact organizations. She actively collaborates with these organizations to harness the power of data and analytics, driving data-informed decision-making, and helping them achieve their philanthropic goals more effectively.

My Journey

  • The seeds of my journey were planted back in 2010 when my high school teacher, Mr. James, taught a course that inspired me to pursue a degree where I could help uncover the faults and issues in our government and international arena. At the University of South Carolina, my interest in International Relations blossomed and my minors in Islamic Studies and Religion fueled my dream of becoming a foreign service officer.

A major pivot came in 2014 when I decided that I LOVED American Politics, ironic since I moved from Political Science Major to International Relations Freshman Year (that's a story for another time). I worked on a local political campaign in South Carolina, an experience that opened up an entirely new world for me. 2015 was another milestone year, studying abroad in Italy, working on a United States Presidential campaign, working for two United States Senate officers and even saving a family from a house fire (again, another story for another time). What a crazy year!

  • The year 2016 marked a significant change in my life's trajectory. I started my role as Site Coordinator for an Americorps program called "Reading Partners" while attending classes at Johns Hopkins University. There, I took my first quantitative analytics class and it was a revelation. My passion for managing and auditing data turned into a newfound love for databases and Salesforce, software management, coding and more. Now I might be leaving out some details here but if you get a chance to know me you will find out more.

  • After finishing my contract with Americorps, I began my role at the Autism Society of America. It was here that my love for Salesforce and data grew as I served as the primary contact for data management and became the Salesforce Administrator. I developed, implemented, and managed various strategies, techniques, and data work.

In 2019, I embarked on a new adventure at an International Economics Think Tank, where I worked as the Salesforce Administrator and CRM Manager. It was an exciting, challenging, and rewarding period where I honed my skills to new heights. Simultaneously, I seized the opportunity to return to graduate school during the pandemic, where I received my second masters in 2021 at American University.

  • The end of 2021 brought a lot of change including my career! I loved my job and was told by an amazing professor “Look at your job and look at your job in 10 years- it might not even exist”, this got me thinking what do I want to do next! After a course on Project Management, I knew it was time for a shift from being the person who builds the work to the individual who helps coordinate the work. In December 2021, I transitioned from building CRMs to becoming a Senior Program Manager at a Cloud-Based Software Company. This move, although nerve-wracking, turned out to be rewarding as I enjoyed connecting the dots, driving programs and running large initiatives that impacted our strategy!

  • I am the Director of Strategy and Transformation at one of the largest Sales and Marketing Companies behind some of the biggest brands! As I am still getting acclimated in this role it brings new ideas, new experience and new challenges that I am ready to take on! This role combines my passions: being able to talk high level code and build systems to support front end experiences for our customers (like you) and back end business strategy. In addition, I recently accepted a new role as an Adjunct Professor at American University. I am excited to take my knowledge and skills to the next level by teaching the future leaders of tomorrow!

Looking Ahead

My journey so far has been a mix of trials and triumphs. The lessons I've learned and the experiences I've gathered have shaped me, both professionally and personally. Today, I'm excited to take on new challenges and continue growing in my career.

2023 is shaping up to be my biggest year for professional development. I'm excited about the future, and I'm ready to keep changing the world, one person at a time. As Gandhi said, “Be the change you want to see in the world.” And that's precisely what I plan to do.
